We are committed to supporting our clients every step of the way. On this page you will find details of local grief support services in the Sutton Coldfield and surrounding area.
Anika Sarna is the Community Network Support officer (CNSO) for the Sutton Coldfield constituency. Although employed by Birmingham City Council, they are a community based service who will work with individuals, families and communities to build capacity and resilience through providing advice and information, helping to build local connections and by providing practical support to those who need it.
CNSOs focus on empowering citizens within their communities to share their skills, knowledge, passions and gifts with each other, helping people to feel part of their communities. They will also help to create local assets in order to meet a group and/or communities needs as well as to keep people independent and active longer.
CNSOs do not replace the role of Adult Social Care workers but will work alongside them where needed. There is not a formal referral system in place for CNSOs. We will take introductions from any person/organisation after a conversation about what they are worried about and how the CNSO may be of help.
Due to the present circumstances we cannot hold our “ Holding Hands Bereavement Group “ sessions at this time but you may find it helpful to contact “ Cruse “.
